What are warts?

Warts are local growth in the skin that are caused human papillomavirus. These growths are usually non cancerous.

There are few varieties of these virus on skin which are as follows:

  • Plantar warts are on the sole of the foot.
  • Flat warts may grow on the face, legs and other parts of the body and these are often in large numbers.
  • Periungal warts are warts around the nails.
  • Filiform warts have long stalk like structure attached to the skin.

Treatment includes the removal of this viral tissue above the surface of skin with co2 laser. Once they are completely removed whatever be the number they don't grow back.
